AGENCY VILLAGE – The Aberdeen Roncalli golf team won its second tournament in the past three days, capturing the team championship at the Tiospa Zina Invitational on Thursday.

The Cavaliers finished with 347 points, five strokes better than runner-up Sioux Valley.

“I’m happy with their play today in the wind,” said Roncalli coach Jon Murdy. “I’m looking forward to what the next couple of events have in store for us.”

Jonathon DeBoer of Milbank Area took medalist honors with an 80.

Mason Carrels of Roncalli finished second with an 82, leading four Cavaliers in the top 10 places. Jesse Hernandez finished sixth with an 87, Finn Anderson was eighth with an 88, and Sawyer Henrich was ninth with a 90.

Roncalli closes out its regular season with tourneys in Watertown and Sisseton before heading to the Region 1A tourney in Madison.
